Who should come: This program is for RI-based entrepreneurs (or people thinking about starting a venture) who want professional input on a business issue, question or challenge. RI-CIE is particularly interested in assisting new "knowledge economy" ventures. Participants are welcome to bring very basic or very sophisticated questions. Advisors are available to provide reactions, recommendations and suggested next steps to help an entrepreneur move forward. Advisors may be limited by ethical and other considerations but will otherwise answer questions to the best of their abilities. They will recommend further resources should an issue extend beyond their expertise or the scope of their consultation.
What the entrepreneur should do in preparation:
- Email Sue Gallogly with your request for an appointment (slots will be 30-45 minutes)
- Include in your email or attach information on your venture so Advisors can review before the meeting
- Briefly state in your email what question(s) or issue(s) you have for the Advisors
- Do not include any proprietary information about a product or service
